Yearly Lotto Ticket for 2020

Castlepollard Hurling Club Yearly Lotto tickets :-  It’s that time of year again and we are currently renewing our popular yearly lotto ticket. At just €50 (for 26 draws) it’s excellent value.  The Club lotto has been a major source of income to our club. Your support is vital to the upkeep of the club and your contribution to our local lotto is always greatly appreciated.  First draw is Sun 12th January.   If you would like to renew your yearly ticket or you would like to purchase a yearly ticket – please contact any member of the executive.    Thank you for your continued support of Castlepollard GAA.

Night to Remember "Honouring the C'Ship winning Teams of 1965 & 1966

Castlepollard  Hurling Club is having a night with “The Elvis Presley Story” in the Hotel Castlepollard on Saturday April 2nd 2016.   On the night we will be Honouring the Championship Wining Teams of 1965 & 1966. This Dance will please music lovers of all ages, but especially those who grew up listening to the man himself.  This show is not to be missed and promises to be a night to remember. Tickets are on sale now.

County Hurling Final 2014

After a 9 year wait we are back in the Senior Hurling County Final.  Congratulations to all the players, mentors and all involved,  you did the club proud.
Club merchandise including flags and small car flags etc. are available for purchase. Please contact Seamus Sheridan if you are interested.

 

Official Opening of the Hurling Wall - Thursday 8th May 2014.

Castlepollard Hurling Club are holding their Official Opening of the Hurling wall on Thursday 8th May 2014.

The arrangements are as follows:

·  6:30pm : -  Fr Moore to bless the Hurling Wall. 

·  6:40pm : -  Underage exhibition of games and wall activities.

·  7:15pm : -  Arrival of Michael Ring TD, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport. 

o Minister to cut ribbon & plaque to be unveiled.

·  8pm+  : -   Tea/Coffee/Sandwiches

All are welcome.

Underage Hurling Training

All Underage training (for all age groups) continues on Tuesday evenings ;
                                U8 @ 6-7pm 
                                U10 @ 7 - 8pm, 
                                U12/U14 @ 7 - 8pm.
  All new members welcome.

Club Hi-Vis Vests.

The Club has arranged for Hi-Vis Vests to be made available to order.  
These Vests are ideal for Club events such as Guards of Honour, Stewarding, or for a person's own recreational use. 
The Vests will be Blue in Colour with the Club Name printed in Yellow on the back.
These Vests can be ordered at a cost of Euro 13.00 through George Murray or Dermot Murphy.

Our weekly Bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex.  There was no winner of the Main Jackpot of  15,000 last Sunday night  July 19th.  Our 2nd Jackpot of €3,900 was not won and now stands at €4,000.  


Congratulations to Catherine Cullen, Clontyduffy, Mountnugent who scooped €11,600 on Sunday last 1st February 2015 by wining our 2nd Jackpot.  We wish her well on her good fortune. 




Congratulations to Niamh Masterson, Granard who scooped a whopping €15,000 on Sunday last 10th February 2014 by wining our main Jackpot.  We wish her well on her good fortune.
